Children ages 4 thru second grade are invited to attend Children’s Church during the second half of the worship service. Children are dismissed for this program following the Children’s Sermon. Each month we study a different Bible story or theme, examining the story and worshiping through art, music, games, drama, and science. Please sign your child in on the clipboard near the bulletins.
Lower Providence Presbyterian Church is happy to provide loving nursery care for parents attending worship and/or Sunday School. Infants and toddlers newborn thru three years old are welcome during either service and newborns thru young three years old during Sunday school. (Older threes attend the preschool/kindergarten Sunday School Class.) Nursery care is provided at each service by a nursery supervisor, certified in First Aid and CPR, and volunteers. Parents are given a silent pager so that we may contact you if your little one needs you.
Sunday school for children ages 3 years old thru 5th graders takes place from 9:45-10:40 each Sunday morning from early September thru early June. Children in the preschool/kindergarten class learn about God’s love through a play-based curriculum called Frolic: Little Steps, Big Faith. Students in 1st-5th grade will study the Bible using the Holy Moly curriculum, which will allow them to think about God’s Word in new and creative ways. Parents can choose from a variety of Sunday School classes to attend during this time.
Club 45 is a program for 4th and 5th graders providing fun and fellowship and growth in Christ. We meet on Sunday evenings once a month to get to know each other and learn to be more like Jesus. We also do some great activities including mini golf, flashlight corn maze, bowling, messy games night, ice cream sundae night and whatever else we come up with!
