“Mission Focus Series” (January 8-22)

January 8 “Called to Work as Partners on Hunger”
Rev. Schaunel Steinnagel, Hunger Action Enabler for the Presbytery of Philadelphia will lead us.
January 15 “Working as Partners Against Hunger in Our Local Presbytery”
Rev. Steinnagel will once again be with us to facilitate a program to help us understand the opportunities we will have in the upcoming months to respond to hunger.
January 22 “Fighting the Good Fight: The Battle Against Malaria in Uganda”
You won’t want to miss this heart-warming story of a young woman who left her comfortable Collegeville home to travel to poverty-stricken Uganda to do God’s work.

Health Awareness Series (January 27-February 12)  Our Health Ministry Team will offer a series on Metabolic Syndrome, a name for a group of risk factors that occur together and increase the risk for coronary heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Come and hear personaltestimonies and learn from doctors how we can care for the bodies we have been given.
