Adult Sunday School

Sunday, September 21 - Pastor Peter Smith will begin a 13-week Bible study on Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians. The content of this fascinating letter includes comfort in
the midst of trouble and sorrow, transforming spirituality and sanctification, human frailty and encouragement for living, the realities of heaven and the hope of salvation, forgiveness and new birth for all who are in Christ, generosity and sacrifice for abundant thanksgivings, God’s strength for our weaknesses, and the all sufficiency of His grace. Everyone is welcome to attend in Rowland Parlor, 9:45 am.

Sunday, September 28 – Pastor Sung Lee will lead a study on John Ortberg’s “God is Closer Than You Think.” John Ortberg is the Senior Pastor at Menlo Park Presb. church,
and is the author of many books including, “If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat,” and most recently, “It All Goes Back in the Box.” We all might have thought “Where is God?” at some time in our life, and what we will learn is that scripture tells us that God is there...right there beside us! If you seek to have a deep and more intimate relationship with God, then this study is for you. The class will meet in Williams Hall, 9:45 am.

OLDER ADULT BIBLE STUDY will begin again on Sunday, September 21 in the Library at 9:45 am. They will continue with the David C. Cook study and will cover topics from the books of Ezekiel, Isaiah and Jeremiah.

For more information on any of the Adult Ministry classes, please contact Pastor Sung Lee at 610-539-6635.
