Our History

Our School started in 1960 when the current Methacton school district did not have a kindergarten program.  Over the years we have adjusted our programs to meet the community needs with quality programs and to maintain an affordable tuition.  We celebrated our 50th anniversary a few years ago and are extremely proud to see the children of our previous students now in the classes their parents were in.

Parents of new students:  you are encouraged to make an appointment with the director to tour our facilities.  Your child needs to see the school that he/she may be attending.  This also gives the director an opportunity to meet your child.

Three Year Olds

The 3 year old co-op classes are limited to 14 children kid_jumping2each. The co-op aspect of the program means that each parent helps in the classroom about once every 6 weeks.  These 2 and 3 day programs combine a period of free play with more structured activities:  story time, circle time, outdoor play, gym, games, art, music and field trips. Class choices include morning or afternoon options.

M-W-F: 9 to 11:30 or 9-2
T-TH: 9-11:30 or 9-2
T-TH: 12:30—3:00

Four Year Olds

There are three 4 year old co-op classes that are limited to 16 children each.  The co-op aspect of the program means that kid_jumping1each parent helps in the classroom about 5 times a year.  The program offers structured activities to aid in kindergarten readiness.  Art, music, free play, outdoor play and field trips are provided to complement these activities.  Our program enhances the child’s physical, mental and emotional growth.  Class choices include morning or afternoon options.

M-W-F:  9:00 to 11:30 or 9:00 to 2:00
T-W-TH: 9:00 to 11:30 or 9:00 to 2:00
M-T-TH-F: 12:30 to 3:00

Transitional Kindergarten

This 4-day morning class is specifically designed for those children who have completed a 4 year old preschool but need another year to “grow” in maturity and/or skills before entering kindergarten.  We use the alphabet and authentic children’s literature as our guide.  We challenge the children by enriching their knowledge and exposing them to many different areas of learning. Class size is limited to 15 children and meets 9:00 to 11:30 or 9:00 to 2:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Enrichment Program

Wednesday or Friday 11:30 – 2:00 PM for PreK and Transitional K students. To register for this program, complete and return this form.

  • Use interactive manipulative and engaging activities to make learning come to life
