Cara is a Philadelphia native with 20 years of ministry experience in various contexts. She attended Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California where she received her MDiv and was ordained at LPPC in 2020. Cara’s passion is to lead and empower teams to invest in the faith formation of all generations of the church from the youngest to the oldest. Cara also moderates the Deacon Ministry and serves on our Welcoming Team. She loves the fact that LPPC actively serves their community and views children and youth as a vital part of their church. Cara believes faith formation must take place in the context of relationships. She hopes to share her relational approach to ministry with LPPC.
Outside of ministry, Cara enjoys hiking with her dog, Henry, and fiddling around with her guitar. She also spends a lot of time with her five nieces and nephews. You can often find Cara at a local coffee shop reading a good book from theology to Harry Potter.
