About Our Cemetery
Our cemetery’s earliest burial was in 1711 in the northwest (Old Section) section of the cemetery that once edged an original wooden church structure. The 5.6 acre cemetery is the resting place for about 3,000 souls and has 950 sold/as yet unused graves within its 4,700 individual grave sites. We are proud to celebrate Memorial and Veterans Day with over 200 buried veterans (including 2 Medal of Honor recipients) from the Revolutionary, Civil, Indian, Spanish American, WW1 and 2, Korea, Vietnam, and Persian Gulf Wars. Eight former ministers are buried here as well as several organists, trustees, Elders and Deacons.
